Hey! Thanks for stopping by my page. First of all I would like to thank all fantastic web-sites in US, Canada, Australia and elswhere which allowed me botanize in their virtual gardens, among a variety of amazing animation.gif. and let me load them generously and enabeld me to make my own page in my own way.
I apologise for my poor English. It is a Long, long time since I wrote some words in English.
I would like to refer to Shakespeare who said:
" The wheel is come full circle,I am here."

My name is Sharock Kamyab (B.A University of Tehran, B.Soc.Sc. and M.soc.sc, University of Stockholm, some courses at Ph.D level) I am an author, poet, consultative advisor, been working for more than two decades with different groups of immigrants and refugees in Sweden, as socialworker, consultant, consultative advisor and expert at the Board of Immigration of Sweden(now The Migration Board and The Integration Board) ,at the Council of Culture of Sweden, at Social Welfare Administration, Municipal and County Council of Stockholm.

I got tired working with bureaucracy and red-tape methods and started my own consulting at spring 1999.
I was born and grown upp in Turkmen steppes,in Iran not so far from the Caspian Sea but I am a swedish citizen since 1978. I have published some books and booklets : instruction and coaching, short stories, satire, causeri and poetry and being coauthor and cowriter to numbers of Swedish Selections and Anthologies. Some of them refelects the multicultural vitality of the new generation of Swedish literature. Since the end of seventies I have been writing only in Swedish. Meanwhile I have translated some poetry and short stories and published two books in Persian. A short anthology of Swedish contemporary writers and poets, such as Hjalmar Söderberg, Pär Lagerkvist, Harry Martinsson, Gunnar Ekelöf, Karl Vennberg, Folke Isaksson, Peter Curman, Sture Källberg. Dear Dr Tom Hedlund, the Swedish poet and I have translated som poems of the great contemporary Persian poet Shamloo to Swedish.
Some of my poems are translated to Turkmenish by dear Turkmen poet Mr Kasim Norbadof and been published in two major newspeapers in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Some of my works being on the Tv and Radio. Some other poems are translated into spanish. I wrote sometimes even for the major Swedish newspaperes such as Dagens Nyheter, Aftonbladet and Svenska Dagbladet.
I was columnist for one of the Swedens major Daily newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, during 1993-1997. I am (have been)member to the P.E.N, The Swedish Society of Authors, The Publicist Club of Sweden and have been Board Member to the Centre for Multiethnic Research, at University Of Uppsala, Board and Editorial Member to the Swedish National Association of Immigrants Cultural Centre, Member of Professional Council to the Swedish Academic Union of Social Workers, Deputy board Member to National Association of Social Workers and Vice Chairman to National Association of Family Counsellers ,working for some other associations such as: Association for Developing Issues, the Writers Centre in Sweden, Confederation of Iranian Students(Worldwide). I got som awards, prizes and scholarships. To mention some: for the best short-story , in George Orwells anti-totalitarian spirit, Cultural Weekly Review"Arbetaren" in 1984, for poem published in Swedish Selection "Group 87" and Ernst Wigforss, Immigrants Institut, Buildings Cultural Scholarships by former Prime Minister Ingvar Carlsson, Sigtuna Foundations Scholarship and even Authors Funds Scholarship.

As you know most writers and poets work alone, in silence, trying to put down words that will touch the readers in som way. I am sorry that I have nothing translated in English.
But,Relax! May be they would appear some day translated into English. Who knows? Only God!
Thank you very much for visiting me, your humble friend, again.
Sorry! You can not read my Swedish poems on my pages. The Swedes say some of my poems are really good.
I myself, I doubt as usual. Of course you can try to learn Swedish, if it happened so that you are in Sweden. We have what we call "svenska för invandrare" only to discriminate old immigrants who can not or does't want to learn Swedish. But we have wonderfull teachers. In contrast to some Goverment employees, they have mostly indeed a good education! It is an easy language, Svenska. It sounds more like Slavic or Russian languages than English. All Swedes would confess that reluctantly after a long term of psychoanalysis. Of course they are Swedes. For me it was difficult from begining and it took many years of burden. But I was paid during the swedish courses, badly low paid, but paid, to be honest. I am joking. Forget it! Still I love the language somhow and I am better paid now.
Or why not mention some words of the great mystic poet of Turkmenistan Maktumkuli, versified and translated to English
by dear poet Mr Brian Aldiss and dear Dr Youssef Azemoun:
"These mirrors that we build within the mind
Betray us and our love's image misplace
I long to read her countenance, but find.
I'm gazing at my own love-clouded face!
From this reflection once I journeyed far
Beyond,I hoped, passion's deceitful scope
I met the thief of love in that bazaar;
At once, the glass was shattered-and all hope!"
Another great mystic Persian/ Turkish poet Mewlana Muhammad Jalal al-din Rumi wrote:
" In one breath I am like fire, in another, such a roaring torrent
What is my origin; what is my race; in what market am I the goods?
In one breath, I move along the moon; in another I am drunk with God.
In one breath, I am like Joseph in a well; in another all harm.
In one breath I betray the giant; in another I am angry and depressed,
In another I am free of these moods
For I am in that elevated place."
or when the master said:
"Don't judge on What I say
For I am bewildered.
How can I say what I think
For I am unaware of Myself.
Sometimes I am higher than a wave
At other times, Beneath the wave
I am bewildered as thought,
And as thought I rise upp
In whatever state I am in hopfully, I can say:
I have become old and I am a child;
I have become aware, and I am also drunk!"
As Erich Fromm, a great philosopher of our time wrote in his preface to "RUMI,THE PERSIAN,THE SUFI" by Dr Reza Arasteh about the Renaissance of humanists thoughts and mysticism:
" Both in religious and non-religious forms they express faith in man, in posibility to develop to ever higher stages, in the unity of human race, in tolerance and peace, in reason and love, as the forces which enable man to realize himself, to become what he potentially is."
I can keeping on for hours, weeks, monthes and years . It is marvelous working with computer when it is cold outside. Finally with Lord Byrons words:
" The English winter-ending in July,
To recommence in August."
You understand what I mean!

HEY DÅ and SEE YOU AGAIN!
