BIOGRAPHY

Sean John Morley, (born on March 6, 1971) is a Canadian professional wrestler. Before becoming a wrestler, Morley was a Motorcycle racer. He began his training in the early '90s under the tutealge of Dewey Robertson and first debuted in the Canadian independents before finding his way to the international scene. Recieved further training from Tom Pritchard and Dory Funk Jr.
Worked with All Japan Pro Wrestling in Japan and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre in Mexico. In Japan he was known as Sean Morgan as the name Morley was difficult to pronounce due to the lack of phonetical differences between the L and R in Japanese. In Mexico he adopted a robot-like mask and gimmick Steel and won the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship.

WWE

Morley was signed to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF)
in the late '90s and given the gimmick of a (well endowed)
porn star, something which grew out of Morley's own sense
of humor. The character was introduced with a series of
vignettes purporting to showcase Venis' life style on and off
the set, the most notable of these featuring Venis in bed with
Jenna Jameson. WWE really did a good job of getting this
character over with moves such as this. Venis also told
the media that he was"Moving to Las Vegas for work
reasons".

Val Venis arrival in the WWE was credited as one of the top
ten moments in Raw's 10-year history and was featured in
the show named Raw Exposed 2003. Mr.McMahon
commented on the Val Venis segment saying that "Sean
got a great reception from the female fans aswell as, for
some reason, the men." From me to you Vince - Guys do,
for some reason, like James Bond also.

Rick Martel's entrance song from his days as "The Model"
was revamped and used as Val Venis' theme song.
Val Venis finisher is called the money shot, which is the
record (on film or video) of a man ejaculating onto a
person or object. This of course goes hand in hand with his
gimmick and the move itself is a dive of the top rope where
Val "ejaculates" his body onto the opponent.

PERSONAL LIFE

In 2001 Sean Morley married a Mexican woman named Lourdes and has a daughter named Celina. The family currently reside in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.


Speaks fluent Spanish, which he learned during the he time spent in Mexican Lucha libre promotions.

His sister Alanah was once married to Adam Copeland (Edge).

Sean is a close personal friend of Bobby Roode in TNA. Bobby actually credits Val Venis as his first trainer. They met in 1995 while working at the same bar and Sean had a ring set up at his parents place and there he showed Bobby the ropes.

His dream before breaking into the wrestling business was to become a helicopter pilot. He studied Aeronautical Science at Colorado State University but dropped out of college just prior to his senior year after having spent the summer wrestling in England (as Scott Borders).

In 1999 he appeared in an episode on the show La femme Nikita. He played a character named Simon Peruze and the episode is called "Under the influence".
