Val Venis -a fan site


WELCOME! This site is dedicated to the WWE Superstar Val Venis. I watched alot of wrestling as a kid and a few years ago and when WWE started to air on television where I live I once again got into it. Many legends had come and gone (some of them more than once) since the early 90’s but I quickly found some new faces and old legends that made the show work for me. Superstars like Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels made sure of that. Why Val? Venis arguably has the funniest entrance video of all time and his music/gimmick reminded me of WWE legend Rick ‘The model’ Martel (one of my favourites as a kid). Eventually I did see Val Venis wrestle on TV and I found him to be one of the most solid performers in and around the ring. He always puts on an enthusiastic performance and gets a good pop. Val Venis is in good shape and still on the WWE Raw roster however he rarely appears on TV as his matches are shown on the webshow WWE Heat instead. Val Venis may or may not be the greatest superstar in the WWE today but like so many others his talents are thrown to waste by the WWE. He may however very well be the most underrated superstar and without a doubt my favourite wrestler. I was expecting a storyline to appear after Val returned from his elbow injury which he suffered at the hands of the Spirit Squad (kayfabe) but it seems that the WWE ignored that angle and instead make me watch non-wrestlers like the McMahons and crap like the Diva search or Strip poker challenges. Trust me when I say this - I don’t like it. This site is here to remind you of one of many talented wrestlers working in the shadows of the WWE. About the site.
